Found // Formed - Reform Fence - Reform Stake - Reform Foam Mesh - Reform Fruit Tray
2025

Description:
This collection of ceramic pieces, crafted from reclaimed clay, is inspired by a selection of found objects—items that were, in essence, discarded and left behind. The starting point was a grouping of four materials: construction fencing, construction fence post connectors, and grocery store fruit packaging: pulp tray and foam mesh.
I was drawn to these objects not only for their vibrant colors but also for their unexpected elegance—their rhythmic patterns, industrial textures, and ephemeral utility. Though created for temporary use, they held a kind of accidental beauty that I wanted to capture and preserve. By translating their forms and aesthetics into ceramic, a material known for permanence, I aim to reclaim both their function and visual appeal. These works serve as a way to honor and reframe the overlooked, allowing the discarded to live on in new contexts.
